So, Delancey<\/a> is opening its doors on Wednesday, August 12, at 5:00 pm. I\u2019m a little short on words to describe how I feel about that, but maybe this picture will give you some idea.<\/p>\n Brandon feels pretty much the same, I think. Maybe with a touch of queasy on top. Or maybe I\u2019m just projecting. Hard to say.<\/p>\n Nah, actually, we\u2019re very, very <\/span>excited. This is the part that we\u2019ve been waiting for. It\u2019s been a long time coming, and though I don\u2019t know that we\u2019ll ever feel completely ready, we\u2019re close. Or close enough. I just hope we get some sleep sometime soon, because apparently, I\u2019m already having a hard time keeping my eyes open.<\/p>\n And we\u2019re in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave. The restaurant has no air conditioning. I\u2019m going to sit here and massage my temples for a while. That\u2019ll help.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
