My ex husband( married from 1993 -2007) lived there for 15 yrs. His father, Steven Eddington, owned and ran the logging camp there.His family moved there around 1973 lived on the camp for approx 10 yrs. He has extremely fond memories and he is taking our son there in June for a graduation present. The Eddingtons were very well known in the town back then 🙂 ENJOY and safe travels 🙂

And you'll find amazing food no matter where you end up (Homer, we love you!), except for the one native village's “Bed & Breakfast” that serves fresh salmon eggs (fiiiissssshy!) on crackers for an evening snack and warm boxed milk and tiny boxes of cold cereal for breakfast (my husband & I spent our first ten years together in AK – he was a bush pilot who, on that particular day, got weathered in to a native village and had to spend the night)!! Yum.
